Important visitor advice on Norovirus

At this time of year Norovirus, also known as the winter vomiting bug, is very common in the community. Norovirus can be brought into hospital by anyone attending or visiting hospital who is already unwell. This means it can spread very easily to others.

To help contain the spread of the virus, please do not come into the hospital if you have diarrhoea or vomiting or have had it in the past 3 days

or

if you have been in contact with someone with diarrhoea or vomiting over the past 3 days.
